Dude if I had any idea that thing was going to let go the next day I never
would have sold it to you. But you were aware that it ground in fifth before
you bought it and I was as honest about the condition of the truck as
humanly possible.
Congrats on the house, cool you have a place to work on your Daks now!! Let
me know how the rearend swap goes, I know that you will have to grind down
the after market shock mounts I welded on and drill new holes in them, but
it should bolt up at the right angle. You should check that against the
stock rear angle and make sure the driveshaft isn't too long...I have heard
some say it has to be cut about an inch and others say it's good to go as
is. Anyway it should be able to handle the power with slicks without a
problem...just not sure about that trans...
