a/f guage help

I'm trying to install a autometer a/f guage for the timebeing before I get
my autotap and wideband programs up and going. The dodge upstream o2 sensor
gives a 0 to 1v output signal correct? Thats what the guage needs for its
signal wire and thats what the fsm says the sensor is supposed to provide.
I however am getting somewhere between 0 and 5v from the sensor and this is
just pegging the guage at rich all the time. Its a new bosh 15705 o2 sensor
and the guage is hooked up to the tan/white wire going to the pcm from the
sensor. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
