hells no! the mud pit would snap it off in no time!

couldn't you just mount it to the front cross member? in front of the
sway bar; the lowest thing on the front of your truck; the brake line
from left to RF runs on top of it (and will be bent a bit by the pit).

know what I'm talking about?
