OK, now take the largest available Dak and put a sheet of plywood in the
bed, on the floor, flat. Do the same on that Silverado and F150.

Hitch up a 7000 pound load on each. Oh, wait...your Dak can't handle
that much.

Park your Dak behind the F150 or Silverado and look at the pair from the
front...nope, you can only see the Ford or the Chevy. They're taller &
wider.

Sorry, but no delusions of grandeur here. The Dak is "mid-sized" and
quite simply does not match up to the dimensions of a full-size truck.
You compared a long-wheelbase Dak to a short-wheelbase full-size.
