Brian,

Contact Wayne at http://www.apsprecision.com (he's in San Jose) and has
a lot of spare parts from valvebodies. Phone: (408) 455-6685.

Subject: DML: HELP! lost a part of valve body!

I learned a few new words this weekend. I had to make them up because
the
standard curse words just weren't cutting it. I have my valve body out
(46RE) installing the transgo shift kit and APS Prescision parts (very
quality parts by the way). I had to pull the small body that contains
the
4th accumulator piston off the valve body. This part holds down two
spring
loaded valves. One of those spring loaded valves has a plug. I lost
that
plug. The damn thing shot out as I was trying to reassemble it and it
hit
me in the eye. So naturally I flinched...the problem is I didn't see
where
it went and didn't hear it land. I'v been searching for 2 days now.
Nothing.

Has anyone got a spare trans/valve body that I could pirate a part off
of?
I live in the San Francisco area, so if you're in the area, I'll bring
my
tools and get dirty.

I know it's a long shot, but I'm desperate and the rental car is
expensive.
I am in touch with Wayne at APS who has offered to look through his
stock
for this piece, but just incase he can't come up with anything, I wanted
to
put the word out.

Thanks in advance,

Brian Tong
