P0351 won't trip the MIL - but it will show up on a scan. It's normally
related to multiple spark ignition systems (no big deal at all) or a bad
coil (in rare cases).

The p0351 is the code for peak primary circuit current not achieved with
maximum dwell time. This dtc will also light the check engine lamp.
Check the harness/connector at the ignition coil. Check the distributor
cap (inner and outer) for signs of arcing. Check the coil primary
resistance. It should measure less than 2 ohms if it's okay.
