I just wanted to let you all know that I just ran the numbers from my
trip.
$275.91 in donations paid in full for Christine's trip home:
the UHaul rental came to $204.85 with tax.
I averaged 10.9 MPG for the trip, which according to my previous
promise to credit myself for fuel beyond 16 MPG, and an "average" price
paid of $1.75, nets $37.49 in fuel costs
extra tolls are somewhere in the neighborhood of $10+.
That leaves slightly more than $20 leftover.
Which just so happens to be about what it cost to put an outboard motor
on for her next watery excursion ;-)
I'll get the rest of the pictures I took posted after I'm off dialup to
you can all bask in the beauty of an 8" tall Mercury hanging off a
silver '89's right frame rail =)
