I also finished up my drive shaft safety hoop. I'd had the brackets
mounted to the bottom of the cab since before the BBQ, but I needed to
modify the lower half of the hoop since my driveshaft is too big for
bolts to clear when the hoop is inside the L brackets.... the fitment
issues I had are tough to describe, but I needed a sledge and a big
vice on a heavy bench to convince things to go together how they needed
to, and now they do. so things were very slightly more productive than
they might have seemed, even if it was a 45 minute job....
not bad: 3 days/ 2 nights on jackstands to accomplish what should have
been about 4-6 hours' work.... damn brakes, damn pinion bolt nut, damn
condenser.
