Hey fellas:
I'm a network nazi/ administrator/ bastard operator from Columbus, Ohio. I found this truck
for sale in the parking lot of a Home Depot. It was (mostly) what I was looking for and it was
cheap. I didn't want any 'toy' truck like a Tacoma or Mazda b-series, besides, I've always
owned Mopars. The truck is an '89 model and is 'powered' by the venerable pre-mag 2.5L. It's
got 3 options: 10" rear brakes, rear ABS, and a/c. Believe it or not, it just turned 55k miles.
It was owned by a lady who happened to be a Honduh mechanic. She said it had a burned valve,
which sounded right due to the way it ran. However, I've never heard of a non-turbo 2.5 burning
a valve. Didn't make much sense, besides, I had a freshly built 2.2/2.5 head on the shelf in
the garage so I didn't have much to lose. To make a long story short, it had a busted rocker
which had bounced over and interfered with it's brother on the other valve. $15 and two new
rockers later, it ran great until I blew a headgasket. I won't be fryin' the hides, but I've
moved a lot of stuff and had a lot of fun with it. BTW, it gets about 29mpg on the highway.
Right now, it's up on stands in the garage due to a blown brake line.

Here's a list of some of the stuff I've done to it so far:
-Added power steering
-2" blocks on the rear, 2" V-6/8 springs on the front
-Mopar Performance cam P4452763 and adjustable cam sprocket
-Bucket seats and carpet
-slider window
-'renovated' the exhaust with Mr. Sawzall and a few bits from Jeg's. No, it's not Ricey.
-Mopar Performance turbo headgasket

Stuff in the garage (or in somebody else's) that will go on soon:
- 1 1/8th front sway bar w/ poly bushings and full set of KYBs
- 15x7 cop car steelies (to go with the cop car dog dishes) powdercoated black with RWL
215/60/15 Cooper Cobras
- 2" drop splindles

Stuff I want to do:
- Decent tunes. I need to find a cd/mp3 player and some decent speakers. How does one cram an
amp and sub into a reg. cab?!?!?!?
- Paint/body. It's remarkably rust-free considering it's an Ohio vehicle, but it has seen some
'love'.
- rear sway bar

That's all I can think of right now. I've gotta go see how the virus defense is going.
