Mitnick (same for Bernie S. and Fiber Optik)got rat-fscked over nothing.
Total BS.. So he made fools of Fed's and in particular Socamaura(sp). DOn't
believe the BS you have read in the NY Times(John Markoff is a scumbag and
an outright LIAR). The movie Takedown was such BS (thank you Miramax). You
want the truth see "Freedom Downtime".

Not really.. The Melissa virus originated right here in good ole Jersey.
Robert Morris(the Morris Worm of 1988) was at Cornell.

M$ products have been buggy and open since MS-DOS 1.0 . M$ is only concerned
with making money PERIOD. BillyG pays alot of lipservice so that M$ can keep
it's dominance on the desktop market(to the point of bankrolling SCO's
lawsuit against IBM and possibly Linux distributors over supposed IP in the
Linux kerenl, and just flatout lying..remember FUD). But yes alot of corp's
are moving over to Linux. To the point that my company is going to send me
and several other engineers to RH for our RHCE's. Even Novell is embracing
Linux(to note the GUI in Netware 6.0 is based on Xwindows), along with "New"
HP, and Dell. We won't see M$ go away but their desktop marketplace is going
to go to hell(hopefully), and just become a bit player in the future.
