So why doesn't Amsoil lower their price to match the competition and
allow the manufacturers to use it right from the start?

It's all marketing fluff to me.

Wanna bet? There are always cost cutting measures in place regardless of
the factory. The bean counters control all companies.

I'm not going to get involved in a "this oil good, that oil bad" debate,
but Amsoil is the ONLY oil manuf. who guarantees their oil to the point
that they will pay for any oil related failure if you are using their
product. Show me someone else who does that.

Yep Jon, I agree on Mobil One. IF all those performance cars use it,
that is good enough for me. One Amsoil guy started trying to tell me it
was because they could buy Mobil One cheaper....nonsense...Ferrari,
Corvette, and Porsche would not spare a buck a quart on oil
...rediculous. Plenty of proof about Mobil One, where is the proof
about Amsoil, (their website? Yeah sure). <unsnip>
