going to risk shelling out thousands of dollars repairing oil-related
failure, then the bean counters have failed. if the "bean counters
control," then by using Mobil 1, it must be the most cost effective oil for
their performance cars.

alright, show us complaints against AMSOIL, and AMSOIL's response. how many
times has AMSOIL denied repairs? was it because of another reason, or did
AMSOIL find another reason to deny it? my laptop has a 3 year guarantee on
it, but if i drop it, and break the screen, i'm S.O.L.!
i used to use Mobil 1, i now use Castrol Syntec (it was $1.00 less per quart
last week). they perform well, and for the protection, i prefer changing my
oil once every 5,000 miles (6 months) over the extended period with AMSOIL.
sorry, i just don't buy into their fluffy marketing and advertisement.

I'm not going to get involved in a "this oil good, that oil bad" debate, but
Amsoil is the ONLY oil manuf. who guarantees their oil to the point that
they will pay for any oil related failure if you are using their product.

Yep Jon, I agree on Mobil One. IF all those performance cars use it, that
is good enough for me. One Amsoil guy started trying to tell me it was
because they could buy Mobil One cheaper....nonsense...Ferrari, Corvette,
and Porsche would not spare a buck a quart on oil ...rediculous. Plenty of
proof about Mobil One, where is the proof about Amsoil, (their website? Yeah
sure).
