i was always under the impression that the reason they are called "high
beam" and "low beam" was because the high beam is aimed higher to see
further out in the road and the low beam is aimed lower to see what is
directly in front of you. not necessarily because the high beam is
dramatically brighter than the low beam. am i incorrect?

btw, how much did the HID conversion cost?
