well yesterday was a bad day at the strip... i took the black 95 360 out
and on the 4th run the clutch blew up. this is sam south's old truck if
anyone cares... i think it had a centerforce II with about 10k miles. so
i'm not to happy with that... oh well i guess. i'll find out within a few
weeks when i take it apart and see what happened. the trans still worked,
but the clutch was real hard. it was making noise like pieces floating
around. then it wouldn't start after stopped. there was a piece of clutch
material sticking out of the bellhouse. now i am thinking of a 727 or some
other trans or replace the clutch and keep using the nv3500 with 125k
miles... such decisions... any suggestions are appreciated...
