when you are talking about the average street car, this doesnt make sense to
me at all. the majority of vehicles arent going to have major problems
until after the warranty is gone, unless someone just didnt change their oil
when needed... at which point i really doubt the warranty would cover it.

dont get me wrong, i like mobil 1 and i use it in every vehicle i have/have
had. its just that everything i have read on this debate so far(from both
sides) is based on speculation of what someone in a company might have been
thinking when a decision was made.
