have you tried calling the shop up that you had it installed at? hopefully
they back up their installations and products.

when i had the 99 R/T i had a clifford alarm with remote start and the only
problem i ever had was that it didnt always want to restart remotely.. but
that was about it. i also had a tilt sensor though and i believe that if
the truck was parked on an incline the sensor was disengaging the remote
start feature.

what brand is the alarm? even if you end up having to fix it yourself or
take it somewhere, you should still try to get the manufacturer of the alarm
or the shop to pay for it.
