I'm pretty sure there is a Mopar kit, your dealer is a moron (find
another!). You really want to use this kit, as it places an additional
crossmember between the front ends of the framerails to prevent tweaking
the frame when you pull on one of the hooks.

The Mopar kit replaces the front bumper mounts with longer brackets
which hang down, are connected by a crossmember, and then the hooks are
mounted to the crossmember. I wish I had a picture of them instakked
before putting the bumper on.

Call up Tenafly Dodge
(http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213794) and
check with them.

There's a kit for '98s and '99s (a '98 kit fits on a '99) and as far as
I know nothing changed that would affect mounting these things on any
'97-'99.
