Belt Tensioner
P/N#: 53010158AB - $75-$80 is the average price at a dealership with
some charging more.

Idler Pulley
P/N#: 53009508 - $20

If the tensioner sticks when you move it (15mm socket or wrench) it's
bad.

The tensioners on these engines (3.9/5.2/probably5.9) are pretty bad.

I've replaced mine twice. You should be able to tell if the tensioner
is
weak and not returning to it's proper spot. The tensioner runs about
$80 at
NAPA around here and $107 at the dealer. It's easy to replace....one
nut.

i just had my a/c recharged and they told me that my idle tensioner was
a little weak and it was causing my belt to squeel some. does anyone
know how much one costs or how difficult it is to fix?
