Well today they replaced the Cat Assy for the second time in 40K
miles. The first time it was the main Cat. This time the guts came loose in the
drivers side pre-cat. I heard it Sunday and could not figure out where it was
coming from. Actually sounded like it was in the oil pan. Knew it was not a rod
or Mail bearing because it was not constant. Also didn't have the rap sound of
a rod OR the thud of a main.
Started listening with a stethoscope. Damn Cat. When they replaced it
we found it was so loose that it had beat the 02 sensor flat on one side. They
had to replace that too. Now alls well with the SemiHemi again. Man, that KB
sure loves the cool weather. "Sir Bill"
