The traditional recommendation I've seen is to wait until about
10,000 miles before switching. Since its a brand new vehicle, you
might want to think about changing the oil (with regular dino stuff)
at about 500 rather than waiting until the first 3K oil change,
just in case there are any loose bits of metal or sludge floating
around in there from the assembly process.
