Band adjustment would be useless, TV adjustment might help... Gov

Subject: DML: Another Transmission Question
I've got a 2000 Quad-Cab with the 5.9 and the automatic transmission.
I've noticed, mainly in the morning since I don't get on the gas much at
all on the way out of the neighborhood, that on the 1 - 2 shift it kinda
bounces back and fourth. I can feel it a little but also see it in the
tach. My theory is that since I'm down under 1500 RPM there just isn't
enough pressure at the time of the shift. Once I'm out of the
neighborhood and I'm stepping on the gas and shifting between 1500 &
2000 RPM I don't notice it any more.
So should I worry about this?
Would adjusting the TV cable a little help this out?
Do I need to do a band adjustment?
Or something else?
Thanks
Laters
