To Josh and Ray: Thank you, that's the answer I
expected. But does anyone have experience run-
ing a GenII through a Calif. Smog CheckII test at
.040. Thats the one using the dyno. I ask this be-cause Chilton says .050
for 3.9's 1995 and up.
While Fram says .035 up to 1996 Then .040 for
1997 up. Do you see my point? I don't see any
difference between 1995 and 1997 ignition sys-
tems, so is .040 really a better gap for ALL magnums? Now if someone could
only tell me
what the proper gap is for a '94 LHS. Same BS
there. .050 on the sticker, .035 for a AP985, and
now .035 for a Champion. By the way, the old
wires ran at about 5000 ohms but I put new ones
on anyway. Thanks Biff
