Nope. Unless the Dakota and Ram are different on that count. I ran 4.56 in
my '00 Ram and the speedo was dead on with those gears (stock had been 3.55).
The PCM can compensate for a gear change alone because the sensor in the
pumpkin just counts more teeth basically. It is only when you change tire heights
up or down that the PCM cannot automatically compensate for the difference.
