I don't have any experience with car seats in particular, but a local
auto upholstery shop should be able to fix your seat (assuming there
isn't any problem with the fabric that's covering it or with the frame
itself) without too much trouble. The cost of that could vary greatly
depending on what you need done, though. Since you still have all of
the components of the seat, that's probably a viable option.
I'm not sure how the cost of "repair" would compare to the cost of
purchasing a new seat. I'm sure it would be cheaper than buying a new
seat from the dealer, but it may not be cheaper than finding a used
seat somewhere. Have you checked ebay? You could also call around to
some local junkyards to see if they have any wrecked trucks like yours
with the seat(s) still intact.
