Remember, I'm a mustang convert... I used to drive a lowered 91 LX with a
Vortech huffed 351W and 4:11 gears in the snow. No sandbags there either and
I had performance tires then too. I think it has more to do with driving
style than weight bias and/or sandbags/tires. I just started in second gear
all the time, the car had the power to do it and the clutch wear wasn't an
issue for me.
