More alternator stuff

Well gang, looks like I'm going with the NAPA part. Here's the lowdown: My
Dak has the 120 amp alternator (thanks for the part #'s, Jon!) so I had a few
choices to make. (The biggest influence on my purchase is that I'm moving back
to Texas next month, and would like a "useable" warranty on my new alternator).
So, the local salvage yard at 75 bucks with exchange, 30 day warranty, and the
local alternator rebuilder at 105 bucks with exchange, 6 mo. warranty are out.
Autozone has to special order their part, and I need to do this tomorrow.
Discount Auto/Advance Auto has them with a limited lifetime warranty, but I'm
going to Dallas/Ft. Worth, and the nearest stores are Lawton, Ok., Abilene,
Tx., Waco, Tx., and Longview, Tx. Not much help if my alternator craps out. ;)
So, since NAPA has stores everywhere, the price is right (156 bucks) with a 3
year warranty, and they have two in stock, that's where I'm getting mine.

Oh yeah, total damage on my minor "fender bender" is 2400 bucks. Holy moly.

Later gang, and thanks for all the help!
