When I bought the 96', the dealer had a leftover 95' model in inventory that
he showed me.

I asked what 2.5 was under the hood of the 95' and they said it was a 2.5
mitsu.......and that my 96' would have the NEW Magnum when it arrives.

I never really messed much with the 2.2- 2.5- 2.6 4cyl Engines if I had the
wrong info.......sorry!

Those engines never had enough power for my taste!.......

Back then I was working on and driving 318/360 Musclecars.
