Axle disconnect hose? Daks don't have axle disconnects. The only
disconnect point in the drivetrain for 4WD is in the transfer case, and
yours should be lever-operated. There are no locking hubs or anything
like that.

Maybe you were looking at a vent tube for the transmission or transfer case?
