  I think what he meant was a smaller turning radius as compared
to a full size towing the same trailer. The smaller (i.e. usually
shorter) bed would put the cab closer to the trailer and might
make contact earliser. (Although the decreased width would
probably offset that somewhat.) It seems like most of the
full size trucks I have seen towing 5th wheels have been long
beds, which you can't even get anymore in a Dak. So its probably
reasonable to assume that in general, a Dak might have a larger
turning radius than a full size, with the same trailer.
