If the following haven't been attended to recently:
Clean IAC and tb.
Clean air filter if cleanable or replace if not.
Check condition of dist. cap and rotor.
Check condition of battery. If original, it's getting close to end of life.
Check condition of belt.

Can't think of anything that I would do in the engine bay at the moment.
