How the heck did you figure that out? I tried two laptops and neither
would work. I will check that out to be sure. Thanks for the tip.

When I first got mine it did not work either. It turned out I had a conflict
with an interupt and the RS232 on my laptop. I wound up going into the BIOS
and
turned of the infrared interface and it worked fine after that.

FWIW, I am using an old 486 IBM laptop for mine.
