It does lower the bed just a little. Probably less than 2 inches. The dry
hitch weight is 800lbs, so it would be like having that much weight in your
bed. It effects it less than hanging it off the rear bumper though. The
truck sits just a little low in the back even when its empty. The Fabtech
lift in the front does more than the extra leaf they give you in the rear.

I like the idea and your rig looks pretty good.

But when I took a look at the pictures, I was wondering if you didn't
have a little too much weight on the truck. Should the truck be closer
to level with a fifth wheel?
