We bought a Leer 100R. LOVE IT!!!!!
Since I actually bought it, I've had the opportunity to compare it to
other brands (Vista, Innovation, Mirage, and some other off-brand), and
there IS a difference between the off-brands and the name brands. Leer
has much better Quality Control than the cheapo brands. Look at the
thickness and quality of the fiberglass, the trim and finish of the
edges and trim parts. The quality of the window glass and hardware, etc.
We compared ours side-by-side to a Vista that my buddy got. The Leer
was $100 more but the windows and rear door actually fit properly, the
glass parts are thicker (less prone to break), the fiberglass is thicker
and finished off nicely at the edges (not rough and unfinished as is the
Vista), etc.
Also, get the "Double Bulb" rubber seal rather than foam tape. It does
not stick to the truck, does not make a mess, and is as easy to remove
and replace as simply lifting off and back on. Our dealer gave it to us
as part of the price...$1200 OTD.
