After I put on my new cowl induction hood, I didn't like how the stock light
looked now that I didn't have the pad under the hood. I installed marine LED
lights that are sealed. They actually work under water. THe lenses were
clear when I got them, but this caused harsh shadows. I sandblasted them and
it works really well. I for the switch I went to an alarm shop and bought a
mercury switch which I hind inside the hood.
Picture 1 shows the lights and where they are mounted.

Picture 2 shows the lights without flash from the camera.

The brightness of the bulbs is a exaggerated by the camera in these shots.
Overall the light is not quite as bright as the stock light, but because
there LED I can run them 10 times or longer without any problems.
