interesting. so "identical" 25 year old tech is incompatible with
well-lit face plates, but is fine with fake chrome plastic and green
outline lighting....
seems a bit fishy, but I stand by my expirience - Cobras have failed
(3-4 times) and two refirb Unidens in the same service haven't.
