Just a stab in the dark, but could it be the switch on
the handle?
I know I've had problems in the past with my high
beams. I switch them on, the light on the dash shows
them being on and my headlights go out. (!!) Switch
them back to low beam and they work. Switch them to
high and they work again. Dirty switch I think.
Haven't had time to take it in and have them look at
it.
