The filter is on the driver-side of the frame (middle of truck). Check the
fuel-sock though - being that old..i'll bet the sock is plugged. When the
fuel level gets low, the dirt in the tank will get sucked up into the pickup
(fuel sock) on the bottom of the fuel pump.
