Here are 2 photos of the new Dakota for 05
they are offering the 3.7, 4.7, and 4.7 HO engines. a 6 speed manual, 4
speed auto, and a 5 speed auto tranny. The pictures that they posted of the
interior look very similar to the new durango. The are offering a class
first in heated cloth seats. Only the club cab and quad cab will be offered.
Towing capacity, as it was just briefly mentioned was stated to be over
7000lbs. Dimension wise, the dakota is 3 inches longer in the front for
crash test safety, and it is 2.7 inches wider. The packages will be the ST,
SLT, and Laramie. And There Gen IV will be on display this week at the
Chicago autoshow
