   Yeah, it kind've sucks to see the NVG going away - I wonder if
they still make the transfer case? The 3000GT VR-4 I traded in
on my '96 Dak had a Getrag 5-speed. Its supposed to be a sealed
case and thus non-serviceable. Supposedly the SOP for fixing
transmission problems was to trash can the old tranny and pop
a new one in there, at a cost of $6K or so. That's one of the
reasons I started to think about moving on to another vehicle when
the warranty expired. ;-)

  Hopefully this won't be the case with the Dak though, for
future GenIV owners' sakes.
