Oh god, here we go again.... :)
I refuse to add anything to the ongoing oil debate since I quit worrying
about oil after I had my engine redone a few months ago. The mechanic who
installed it (whom I trust a lot) told me just to keep my little mitts out
of the engine compartment, and I'll have no problems.
I couldn't agree more!! You have no idea how much credibility he earned
with me when he told me that.
So now I just give him $15, and he changes the oil. He uses NAPA 10W30 and
a NAPA gold filter which confirms my theory that it doesn't matter what
brand you use, just that theres clean oil in the engine.
This is absolutely, positively the last oil debate post I will ever make!!
