Here's a spin-off question: What's the toughest coating that a diy'er can apply? I have a powdercoating kit now, but I haven't been real impressed with the durability of the results. It's more durable than regular paint, but no where near as tough as the stuff this guy's talking about. Is there something better?

...They have a really hard coating which I'm guessing is some sort of epoxy....
