Is it? I was actually interested in this thread until it turned into
something worthy of Godwin's law.

As a side note, I got a new gibson exhaust and it rocks. I like the
sound in the cab and it seems as if the engine is running smoother now.

I'm putting a new set of plugs and wires in this weekend, maybe the
thermostat if I'm feeling adventurous, and if I can get those darned
rusted threads off the ignition coil I'll be putting the MSD blaster
coil on the sucker too.

Asides from these "spring cleaning" items, I think the only other thing
I should do is put a chip on to change the shift points and increase the
~ power a bit. What do you think, fellow Dakota Enthusiasts? Any other
low-to-mid budget (I.e., less than $500) I can do to improve the power
on my '97 V6?
