I was out with my kids last weekend as I was pulling into the local grocery
store what to my wondering eyes should appear but a Gen I Dak Vert in really
decent shape. As I got out of my truck and started walking toward it, the
owner came forth from the store and started to load groceries into the front
seat. Naturally I couldn't resist the opportunity to talk to the gentleman.
I went up to him and identified my self as a member of the DML and
complimented him on his truck. What I hadn't noticed at first was this truck
was a 4X4, a fact the owner quickly pointed out to me. Ha also told me he
just had a new top put on the truck. Now I need another Dak like I need a
hole in my head (to match the one in my wallet I presume) but I told the
owner if he ever decided to part with it, to please get in touch with me. I
gave him my name, email addy and phone number. I also gave him the addy for
the DML so hopefully he has checked out our little niche of the world wide
web and has seen fit to join our ranks. Gee just think, if he should decide
to sell and I can manage to purchase it, I'd have one of each Gen currently
in production. Then I'd have to start saving up for the next one. Can you
say waiting for a Hemi?
