Yep, 3.9 here. I'm thinking I aught to drain a quart out just to be
safe. The stalling wasn't happening today though, oddly enough. Maybe
it had something to do with my low fuel and the fact that I reset the
PCM on saturday for the new plugs and ignition coil.

We'll see how it works out. I wish mobil would sell those mobil 1 jugs
in four quarts instead of five -- makes it annoying to return your used
oil because you have to locate a gallon jug (we don't drink gallons of
milk, we buy it in quart and half gallon sizes!) That's why I put all
five in there, because I knew I didn't have a vessel to return the old
oil in.

Ah well, that's what I get for being ill prepared!

PS -- Checked oil dipstick tonight, as well as transmission fluid. Oil
is only a little high even when the Dak is hot. Transmission fluid
definitely has an almost-burnt smell (almost a fresh-burnt, if you guys
get what I mean) to it and is starting to change from red to a darker
hue. Dammit, gonna have to get the transmission serviced sooner rather
than later. As I said in a previous post, already way overbudget for
this year already!

January: both front axles -- $500
February: New exhaust: $600

MONEY PIT! :)

Pete
