As stated already, it will function only in MAX, A/C, face/feet,
feet/windshield, and defrost.
Aside from that, when it is on, it will cycle if the temp probe in the
evaporator (under dash) gets too cold to allow the unit to thaw, or if the
refrigerant is low.
