My father had a set on his '01 Durango. Cracked both due to heat;
ceramic has poor heat transfer/dissipation properties, and he was
hauling a trailer up and down the Rockies. Yes, the trailer had brakes
too, but the truck brakes still heat up.

Didn't damage his Powerslot rotors though. He does know of someone else
who had the same thing happen, but the pads actually broke apart and
wrecked the rotors.
