Bob, you could remove the belt and turn each pulley by hand. If they all
turn smoothly with no rough spots and they don't wobble then it's likely
they are ok. If this screeching just started since your last project, I'd
be looking at whatever it was you changed. Also, make sure the belt is
clean. HTH.
