if the alt puts out, say, 75% charge at idle, a 160 will still put out
a LOT more juice than a 90 at idle. I've seen some alts advertised
that put out 90% of their rated max at idle. If I ever get a decent
set of lights on a truck, it's definitely getting an alt like that
along with dual Optimas.
