I know from experience.... When the gravy train stops, only true friends
stay aboard.

I don't want to make the wrong assumption, but this guy sounds like a jerk.
WTF... The hotel doesn't count???? Your still out the miles, so in reality
your still paying for the hotel. And them inviting themselves is total BS,
especially when they want YOU to chip in for gas and the trailer. Sounds
like something a total loser would do.

I would still go and enjoy yourself. And when you're riding up, you can
take comfort in knowing the difference between a buddy and a friend. :)
