Daks came with either an 8.25 or a 9.25. The 9.25 kind of looks like a stop
sign. I think the rear cover on an 8.25 is more round, but I haven't looked
close enough at one in quite a few years.

The 8.75 is a front loader. The entire chunk comes out the front with the
pinion, like a Fraud 9". They were used in older Mopars of the 60-70s
range.

BTW: my 98 Sport 5.2 5spd has a 9.25.
